 Life History:-Sri Ranjit Debbarma was born in a middle class family on 16th April, 1950, at Debendra para, Belchera, Khowai under West Tripura District. Shri Debbarma jumped headlong into the student’s movement during his early academic career. He was associated in politics since his student life with association Like SFI, TSU, DYFI & TYFI. He has joined in GMP (Gana Mukti Parisad) on completion of his studies. He was also a leading agitator during the turbulent times of the food movement of 1967 against the then Congress government of Tripura.

He has joined in “Krishak Sabha” in the year 1974 and subsequently he became the member of both organization GMP & Krishak Sabha. After that he has joined in the CPIM party in the year 1975. He was elected as a Member of District Council, TTAADC under Seventh Schedule for the first time from the ADC Constituency No.12 –Ramchandraghat, Khowai in 1982.

Thereafter, he was elected again as MDC of TTAADC from the same constituency under Sixth Schedule in 1985. He was attacked by so called extremist at Nagarsardar Para nearly Baijalbari, Khowai at 11.30 AM on 20th July 1995, when he was opposition Leader of Left Front. On that incident one Nyack Subedar was killed in the spot by the extremist. Eventually he became the Chief Executive Member of TTAADC from the year 1995 to 2000. After 18th march 2008 he has also hold the post of the Chief Executive Member TTAADC upto 17.05.2010. Now also holding the same post since 18th May 2010 till date.

Life History: - He was associated with student’s organization since his student life. He was the General Secretary of Tribal Students Union in 1984 and simultaneously holding the post of the president of Tribal Youth Federation, Tripura. He was attacked by extremist several times. He was the Member of Federation of India (DYFI). Anyway, he has come to political party through student’s movement, Cultural movement and youth struggle. He has been elected as MDC, TTAADC in the Year 1995, 2000 & 2005 from the Constituency No.15, Jirania, Tripura (W), TTAADC. At present he is holding the post of the Executive Member for Education, ICA &T, Sports &YP.

Life History:- In his childhood he was sent to grandfather’s house for his Education. At the age of 7 he took admission in Class I and read up to Class VIII at Doolpur Sr. Basic School and continued his study up to Class IX. Then he devoted himself for Cultivation over his paternal Land for a period of 5 years. He joined the C.P.I.M Party in the year 1968. He was elected as Panchayat Member of Kanchanchera Panchyat in the year 1971. Again he was Elected as a Pradhan of the same Panchayat in the year 1979.In the year 1986 he was for the first time, he was Elected as a MDC,TTAADC from the Constituency No.4-Karamchera (By Election) and selected as BAC Chairman, Chawnanu R.D. Block. In the year 1995 he was Elected as MDC, TTAADC and worked in the capacity of Hon’ble Executive Member for Agriculture, TTAADC. Again, he has been Elected as a MDC, TTAADC in the year 2005 and presently working as a Hon;ble Executive Member for ARDD and Forest, TTAADC
